Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife

Lovely room and facilities Staff amazing and food good. Sometimes food a bit cold. Not much to do at location but hotel provides a courtesy bus to 2 other resorts which was amazing. Local bus very good service as well.

Cannot fault jet2 flight was good with no delays, speedy check in on outgoing and return flights! Lots of jet2 staff at airport! We stayed in gold deluxe side sea view room. and it was perfect had a lovely view of 2 pools, the sea and lovely backdrop! The rooms were clean and a good size. Both pools were good with djs and entertainment throughout the day! (We preferred the lagoon pool as bigger) our 6 year old enjoyed the kids club big thanks to. Daura, Sire, Joaqui, Celeste, Myriam, Andrea and Carolina for making him so welcome and keeping him entertained! The hotel has a good family vibe but feel we both got some adult time too (with thanks to the kids club) and the dj’s by the pool! The restaurants within the hotel are all good serving beautiful food our favourite was Japanese or steak restaurant! The area outside the hotel has a good amount of local restaurants and shops, we ate out locally a few times which was cheaper than the hotel good local prices and good food! Would highly recommend this holiday to families with young children. Siam water park and del duque beach just a 20 min cab ride away.

Firstly I would like to say the facilities were brilliant and the staff were lovely. I felt sorry for the staff as they seemed to be understaffed as service was very slow but they did a great job nevertheless. The room was nice and the maids kept it clean and serviced every day. However I was very disappointed that 2 days into our holiday they changed the all inclusive rules. This change was only notified to us with a message on our television at 8pm the night before it was changing. We didn’t see the message till a few days later. We booked under the premise that you could order lunch at the splash pool bar and eat in the beach club restaurant at lunch. The first 2 days be tried both and they were fab! After 2 days you had to pay for the food at the splash bar and only got a 20% discount at the beach club restaurant (which is pricey). Meaning if you wanted all inclusive you had to eat the buffet restaurant for 3 meals a day. The food in the buffet restaurant was a huge let down. On a few occasions the chicken and pork was raw. We made the staff aware and they couldn’t have been nicer but this was quite off putting. The food was very repetitive and not the 5* standard we hoped for. We did eat in the steak restaurant one night, which was nice but very slow. I have voiced my concerns to the management that changing rules 2 days into a trip isn’t really acceptable, however only received a generic reply back. I’m not sure if we will return, I feel the place is going down hill. If we do it certainly won’t be all inclusive.

Incredibly impressed with both Jet2 and Hard Rock Tenerife! From the minute we arrived at the airport, we were greeted by very welcoming staff at Jet2- the airport was very busy but the que moved fast and there were several Jet2 staff on hand to help with any queries. The flight was on time. The transfers from Tenerife airport to hard rock was easy and quick and the staff at the hard rock were so incredibly friendly and welcoming from the minute we arrived! Hard rock Tenerife is huge! Lots of space so you don’t feel you’re on top of eachother, various areas to go inside and outside the hotel. 3 lovely swimming pools, and such a great DJ who we saw a few times at the family pool and at the main large pool downstairs- Ibiza house classics/ Ibiza chill out vibe. The adults only poop surprisingly had the worst music (pop!!) which put us off spending any time there but it was beautiful and had a lovely swim up bar. The Thai and steak restaurant onsite were amazing! We didn’t get a chance to visit the Italian as it was so busy but looked lovely! The rooms was very clean and spacious. I can’t fault this holiday at all- the staff of both jet2 and hard work were exceptional and I would 100% return to the hard rock via Jet2! Hard rock is perfect for all types of holidays- families/ couples/ friends.

Stayed for a week in August. Rooms a bit odd as sink etc in main living area but has everything you need to be comfortable except pillows were long and narrow and very hard. Only had breakfast booked as like to eat out and standard and choice for breakfast was excellent. Restaurant and all facilities spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and polite. The separate meat restaurant was a disappointment, very expensive and extremely slow service, would not eat there again. Swimming pool could do with a deep end as there wasn't one anywhere we could find but on the whole a good resort. Unable to give 5 star due to pool and room pillows.

This review is based on Jet2 as well as the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel there was no water in the main pool and there was one of the seven restaurants or bars open with barely enough staff to accomodate one bar, let alone seven. The hotel did say they had informed Jet2 so where saying Jet2 has mis-sold us the holiday which they had, but even the little service we recieved was poor. The Ultra All Inclusive wasn't all inclusive at all. the vodka was part of the all inclusive but the soda water carried a €1 supplement. We have stayed here before and it was much nicer, has gone right down the pan.

Hotel fantastic, room spotlessly cleaned daily - sinks located in the room and shower / w.c. layout a bit different to the norm, but no problem - Staff very attentive and helpful, music around the hotel and pool is in no way as loud as some reviewers would lead you to believe.. all is good on that front. Food was great.. can be a bit luke warm in the buffet, but let's face it, when have you been to one that isn't like that..!! All inclusive does have different drinks and food menus, but there's plenty of variety on each and the food portions in the plated restaurants / pool area are easily big enough to satisfy a small horse so would recommend the AI option. There is no difference in the standard of customer service given to those on AI and those who aren't, despite what some reviews suggest. Very relaxing during January when we were there - for sure it'll get a different party-vibe as the season starts up proper, but that's what you're signing up for at that time of year so shouldn't be a surprise..! We'll definitely be looking to return,

We had a wonderful 10 nights at Hard Rock Cafe. The staff couldn't do enough, the food was great and the facilities were perfect. Entertainment on the evenings was impressive. In terms of things that fordidnt work so well for us; an earlier dinner start time as 6:30 is too late to feed a baby or toddler and the location isn't brilliant in terms of proximity to anything outside of the hotel meaning you get shuttles or taxis for days out.

Myself and my partner visited the hotel in October. It was still busy and popular. The rooms are nice and the communal areas are impressive. We went all inclusive and this was disappointing. The food is the same every day at the buffet and in the pool bars and restaurants so it didn’t offer much variety in my opinion. The al inclusive included 6 cocktails and a basic variety of spirits and mixers which I found annoying for the money we had as we paid a lot of money to stay there. The food quality was average, not like the food at the Hard Rock Cafe. The room was nice, Quite smal considering it was advertised as a “silver deluxe suite”. The door stop was broken, two of the shelves were damaged, very limited storage space for two people, black mould in the shower area, and I had to ask for clean towels. I will add that the service was great and the staff are all friendly and helpful. The hotel was nice, but disappointing for the brand as we are a fan if the hard rock cafe’s around the world.
