Cala Mayor’s still relatively undiscovered among the Majorca holiday destinations. The larger neighbouring resorts tend to attract bigger crowds, leaving the likes of Cala Mayor to conjure up a relaxed atmosphere. The small beach is the real winner, though – it’s golden, fine and backed by palm trees with a Blue Flag rooted into the sands.  

A true culture trip

Palma, the capital city of Majorca, opens up for big-time souvenir shopping, while also offering chic bars and clubs. You can also delve into the culture and history of the island too – La Seu Cathedral, which dominates the skyline, is well worth a closer look. Hop on the bus or in a taxi, or why not enjoy a long walk into the city instead?
