Beautiful beaches
This charming little fishing village is all about soft, sandy beaches – you won’t get better than lazing around by the sea here. Praia Grande is one of the best, with sunloungers peppered along its long shore. Praia Armacao De Pera is a little busier but has ample room to unroll your towel and stretch out.

Put your own spin on this fun-loving resort. It’s cushioned by surrounding cliffs and there’s a lot to explore if you fancy heading further afield. Have a go at the water sports on offer, take a day trip to nearby Silves or even visit Sir Cliff Richard’s vineyard, Quinta do Miradouro.
