Hotel da Rocha

Stayed in hotel Rocha ,back corner rooms face a building site. Very noisy from dawn till dusk.The room shook at times! Had to keep patio door shut couldn't sit on balcony during the day too noisy and dusty. No indoor pool,spa, no evening entertainment. Some reception team surley and unhelpful. Best bits? Very close to beach access , very good choice at breakfast buffet. Huge king-size bed, large room , good bathroom excellent housekeeping. Towels changed daily. Rooms spotless. Stocked mini bar/fridge very expensive! No tea coffee etc in rooms , bubble bath and soap provided was very good quality!

the hotel was excellent , great facilities and food, close to beach, very cleah , all the staff very helpful , room was spacious and could not fault it , all the facilities were great , prai du rocha great hotel and resort

we have stayed at this hotel several times, always received 1st class service from all members of staff. A special mention to the members of the cleaning team who found my sisters phone, which we had left in our room, just before we had to depart for the airport, many thanks again. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough

This was our third stay at this modern hotel and it fully lived up to our previous experiences. Our room was large, clean, modern & spacious and had a side sea view. The staff are very helpful and friendly.The hotel is just across the road from the beach access and there are plenty good restaurants nearby.We go to Praia da Rocha every year and will certainly return to Hotel da Rocha.

An extremely well appointed suite with a great sea view, very hard working housekeeping staff who maintained the pristine condition of the room every day. Excellent reception staff who were always ready to assist with effortless checking in and out, to helping with all my inquiries and then an absolutely exceptional restaurant with amazing arrays of buffet food at both breakfast and evening meal times. Very high quality cuisine with superb attention to detail, not only with the amazing presentation of the food but also the friendly ambience of the restaurant in general terms, with cheerful and attentive wine waiters and staff always there to tidy round and reset the tables once vacated.

we loved this hotel. pay a bit more for a balcony sea view, its worth it! the staff were very attentive but not pushy, the room was clean and had everything we needed. breakfast buffet...wow...who knew I would love cake for breakfast! so much choice from healthy to a fry up, very well laid out, something for everyone. if I had to make one criticism it would be how cold the pool was...I actually think the sea was warmer! we will definity come back, its in an excellent position and really worth the money.

Brilliant hotel, friendly, very clean, plenty to do at the resort, and plenty of places to visit, the room was very spacious. Very clean beach, loads of places to eat , couldn't have picked a better place to visit.

Second visit to this hotel. Great rooms with lovely sea views. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. Located right next to the beach. Staff are all really helpful and friendly. Loads of choice at breakfast.

Hotel was nice and clean staff where friendly and helpful my husband got approached 6 times by people on the Main Street in broad daylight offering him cocaine!!! Which is not good it's a shame because it's a nice little resort the irony is there is a police office in the street but didn't see any police

bed and breakfast was fine but half board plus was not worth the extra cost as evening meal selection was extremely limited. One evening all three, starter, main meal and desert were on one food station with a length of about three meteres. So not much to choose from. so bad we walked out and ate at a local restaraunt.

Stayed here last year and loved it so much decided to return this year. Small problem after getting to our room but John on reception sorted out the issue within 20 minutes. Loved the bottle of bubbly and chocolate cake they presented me for my birthday. Lovely touch. Waitress at lunch one day not very friendly but apart from that all staff are great and nothing is a problem.

we have returned to this hotel on several occasions and never once been disappointed always received excellent service by all members of staff, standards of customer service and cleanliness are always very high along with the location of the hotel this is always our first choice

The hotel is really lovely nice and clean. They come to clean twice a day and leave sweets. The only problem was we stopped in room 605 apparently the best room but the noise from hotel Jupiter from 9pm till midnight was horrendous. A disco or singer only had one set of music so it was the same songs night after night.

Would not usually complete a review but have had such a great experience felt the need to share. Hotel Da Rocha is a lovely hotel; it is very clean and the staff were pleasant and efficient. There is a good variety at breakfast and the room is very comfortable. The resort was very good with plenty to do and some really good restaurants - check out All Beef it is amazing.

Have just returned from our holiday. We all enjoyed it so much,only the weather spoilt it but eventually the sun shone again. This is an excellent hotel cannot fault it. Rooms and service are great,the staff are very pleasant and helpful.

This hotel i have to say was excellent. Very clean, all staff where very helpful and made sure you where looked after. We had bed and breakfast and the food and service was top notch. I would love to ho back to this hotel. Excellent value for money. Was better than we expected.

Really friendly staff, great hotel worth a visit.Who needs the smallish pool when there is a cracking beach across the road.Only smallest of moans cold be the lack of a decent sized lounge area.Not withstanding we will be back!!!
