If you’re interested in Modernist architecture, a visit to Barcelona Pavilion is a must. Designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, it was built for the 1929 International Exposition, and the iconic Barcelona chair was designed to furnish it. Located in the city centre, it’s easy to get to and opens daily from 10am to 6pm.
