Cave Church

Cave Church

The unusual Cave Church only reopened in 1991; its entrance having been concreted over by the Communists in 1951. Nowadays it's back in the hands of the Pauline monks who created it inside a natural cave within Gellért Hill back in 1926. Discover its fascinating World War II history when it served as a hospital and asylum.
