Loustri Pie Festival

Held in September, The Pie Festival is the highlight of the foodie calendar in Loustri. Local amateur and professional chefs compete for the best savoury pie or pitta, made of layered filo pastry and finely-chopped vegetables. Best of all, at this bake-off you get to taste the food. There’s lots of drinking and, if you’re not too full, dancing.
