The Old Fortress

The Old Fortress

The Old Fortress (Citadel) built in 1546 is one of the top attractions in Corfu Town with thousands of visitors each year. It’s a steep climb to the top but well worth it for the views, west over the town and east towards Albania. There’s a small church inside and a café on the lower rampart.
