Madeira Flower Festival

Experience Madeira in bloom and celebrate spring as parades, markets and exhibitions take over the island, normally in April or May. The Float Parade, held since 1979, is a true spectacle. You’ll see hundreds of participants flooding the streets of Funchal in bold costumes adorned with beautiful floral species in every colour of the rainbow.
