Diagoras Monument

Diagoras Monument

Diagoras of Rhodes was one of the most celebrated ancient Greek boxers, whose sons were also Olympic champions. His daughter was also the only lay woman to enter the Olympic Games. Today, a monument of this legendary figure on the shoulders of his sons can be seen on the west coast of Rhodes.
