nice hotel friendly staff.kept clean, rooms basic, small f/s t.v/. fridge can be hired,hot water in shower can sometimes take a while to come through,breakfast could be improved,but on the whole a lovely little hotel,on the beach front.

Great hotel very friendly clean well positioned would havexpect rebooted already but they have changed the flight times.Would definitely recommend half board as the food was very enjoyable and we'll presented

Just returned from 12 days, having really enjoyed our stay. Have been to Turkey 7 times, each time to quiet places, (hate places like Gumbet, Marmaris, Hisaronu etc) and we were not disappointed with calis. Always find that these sort of hotels in Turkey are quite basic but this was definitely the best in terms of bedroom, staff, pool area. It was nice for there not to be evening entertainment, and it was great not to be pestered by the hotel to sign up for the usual near obligatory barbecue night! So if you like that sort of entertainment, you might be disappointed! Staff were all excellent and friendly. Room (102) had full sea view, and a large corner balcony. Bedding was changed regularly and towels every day. Only reason I have not given full stars was the repetitive breakfasts. Breakfasts are rarely memorable in Turkey, but in 12 days, the only variance from hard boiled eggs were fried eggs twice (rather strange to have with tomato’s and cheese), a very poor omelette once and equally poor pancake once. Some fruit yogurt or fresh fruit salad would not cost much to provide. Cheese was the usual tasteless wet rubbery Turkish cheese.The mattresses also had no protectors or even under blanket, but maybe that’s usual in Turkey.When we arrived noticed as is usual these days, the British Sun Bed towel brigade were in full force, getting up at 7am to reserve their beds. Noticed that the Germans did not do likewise!This hotel would suit couples over 50 who want a relaxing quiet holiday with excellent restaurants nearbyPosition of hotel is great, on promenade and sea views have spectacular sunset view.We stayed B and B, but did see the evening meal. It didn’t look great at all, and quite a few guests were eating out after having paid half board and had evening meal only onceWill definitely return

My daughter and I enjoyed a lovely holiday at Gunes Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, there was always plenty of room by the pool and there was a good choice of snacks and meals from the bar ( the Sunset restaurant on the seafront was part of the hotel and provided the food). The location is ideal - not too close to the busiest and noisiest parts of Calis. The room was basic but very comfortable and clean, and there was a good shower. Only suggestion for improvement: the breakfast menu was rather limited.

Hotel is in an excellent position for the beach and restaurants and a few shops. Lovely to walk along the beachfront every evening . Area very flat so no problem with walking or cycling . We walked into Fethiye a couple of times which took about 1and a half hours. Bus very cheap as well or you can catch the boat which is lovely. Hotel reception staff very good , especially Alex , always friendly with a smile. Food very good in the evening. Breakfast acceptable but could have a bit more choice for the English , Overall a brilliant holiday

Couldnt fault the hotel for cleanliness and friendliness. The hotel was right upon the beach. The hotel was not suitable for people withlimited mobility. All stairs and no lifts. The food was adequate with set menu (definitely no a la carte) The pool was kept spotless. All the staff couldnt do enough for you. Ideal location for strolling along the prom - area very flat. We had no hot water for most of our holiday.
