Make a beeline for Achladies Beach, the resort’s star attraction. Loungers line the narrow stretch of sand, so you can snooze in the sunshine or get lost in a good book while taking in the beautiful view of the turquoise sea ahead. Head in for a swim when the heat peaks or try your hand at some of the water sports on offer.
Venture 15 minutes up the coast to discover charming Skiathos Town, the island’s chief destination. Bus or water taxi? The choice is yours from Achladies. Once you’ve arrived, seek out the quaint Old Town and explore its tangle of cobbled streets. Whitewashed buildings embellished with doors and shutters painted in bright blue hues charm, as does the vivid bougainvillea draped from balconies.
